Shasta County rural-property buyer guide
Keep well service and water testing separate
Retain the well log, equipment and service records with any repair proposal. Ask what findings support the recommended work and which pump, tank or controls are included. Keep drinking-water test reports separate. Restored flow is not a water-quality result.

Give the actual locality in a well request
A Redding mailing address may not describe the travel or access required for a well visit. Give the property locality, symptom and available system records. Clarify diagnostic, travel and access charges and require approval before equipment replacement. The Shasta scope sheet helps compare the terms.
